A Tennessee man accused of stealing two trucks in two counties was found hiding under the floor of his grandmother’s house, authorities said.
Hunter Breeden was arrested by Humphreys County deputies on Wednesday, WKRN reported.
According to deputies, Breeden went to a residence in Hustburg on Monday and stole a truck, the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post. He then allegedly abandoned the truck in the New Johnsonville area of Humphreys County and broke into a secure area of a business, WZTV reported.
According to deputies, Breeden then stole another truck. That vehicle was later found in neighboring Benton County, WKRN reported.
Investigators arrested Breeden on Wednesday morning, reporting that he was hiding under the floor at his grandmother’s home. Breeden’s girlfriend, Victoria Curtis, is also in custody, accused of helping him elude authorities, WZTV reported.
