Despite an apparent falling-out with the royal family since Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, stopped being working royals and a subsequent tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan was given well-wishes by her in-laws via social media.

To mark the occasion, the Duchess of Sussex is starting a new initiative called “40x40″ where dozens of influential women like Stella McCartney, Adele and Melissa McCarthy will mentor women as they return to work, USA Today reported.

“This effort is being spurred in response to the tens of millions of women around the world who have left the workforce in the past two years (largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic),” Meghan said in a press release, according to USA Today. “We believe that mentorship is one way to help women regain confidence and rebuild their economic strength.”

The initiative, which is being run through the nonprofit Archewell, was announced on the “Today” show.
