Beach Driving will be restricted on St. Johns County beaches starting Saturday evening

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Beach driving on all St. Johns County Beaches will be restricted beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday. This is due to potential high tides and unpredictable ocean conditions that could result because of Hurricane Isaias.

People can still walk onto the beach, however are recommended to avoid swimming until conditions improve.

The current forecast track has Hurricane Isaias just offshore from the South Florida coastline on Saturday. It is expected to impact Northeast Florida on Sunday.
