As they say, “all good things must come to an end”.
That’s what’s happening with the OWN TV show, “Welcome to Sweetie Pies”.
The show is described as:
When Miss Robbie Montgomery, a 1960s backup singer and former "Ikette," suffered a collapsed lung and had to stop singing, she decided to pour her talents into another creative venture—a soul food restaurant called Sweetie Pie's. This docuseries follows the loud, loving and often singing Montgomery family as they work to expand their empire, one soulful dish at a time. From Tim hustling toopen new restaurants, to Miss Robbie heading out west and back in the studio, this close-knit family juggles the business at hand with wayward employees and celebrity guests. Through it all, the entire Sweetie Pie's family serves up every situation with a perfect mix of humor, drama, heart, and especially soul.
The final season starts on May 5.
