Tracee Ellis Ross Reveals She Didn’t Really Like Anthony Anderson

Tracee Ellis Ross says she wasn’t a big fan of her Black-ish co-star Anthony Anderson before landing her role on the show. *Shocked*

It’s surprising because she and Anderson’s character have chemistry on the show.  She even mentioned realizing this when she went in for the audition for the now hit ABC-TV show.

Ross tells The Hollywood Reporter in the Awards Chatter Podcast,  "I did not like Anthony.  I had worked with him in the past.  I thought he was an a**hole.  Anthony, if you know Anthony he has a gruff exterior and he does not have an inner governor and Anthony says stuff that is not that appropriate all the time."

The former Girlfriends star goes on to say, "He had said some things to me in the past that I did not like....and from the moment I walked in for that audition, I was like oh there's magic here".

“I have a different experience of him now.  He is one of my absolute favorite people.  I love working with that man so much.”

The interesting thing about this is that Anderson apparently had no idea Ross felt this way.  She says they laugh about it now.

Ain’t it funny how things turn out!
