Monica Lands Hosting Gig on VH1

VH1 is coming out with it’s own true-crime series, Infamy: When Fame Turns Deadly. Monica will host the eight-episode series. It premieres June 7.

From VH1: Cases featured this season include the murder of NBA player Lorenzen Wright and the investigation of his shocking death; hip-hop artist on the rise Young Greatness, who was gunned down under mysterious circumstances in his hometown of New Orleans; a runway model found dead at the bottom of a swimming pool; and a popular Chicago radio personality targeted by someone nobody could expect.

Based on reaction to the news on Twitter and YouTube, the show will be a success. “Excited for everything”, “This will hold me until we get new music”, and “Omggggg I’m excited” are just a few of the sentiments from fans.

Yes, the stories will be interesting but who else is waiting to see what Monica is wearing for each episode? *raises both hands*
