COLUMBUS, Ga. —

The funeral arrangements for Kim Porter, the former model and actress who died unexpectedly last week, will reportedly be held in Georgia.

Her body will be returned to her Columbus, Georgia, hometown, according to the New York Daily News. She will be buried at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens cemetery alongside her mom and grandmother, and her memorial service will be held at Cascade Hills Church, the publication reported.

The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, whom she dated on-and-off for 13 years, reportedly hosted a private memorial for her in California on Sunday.

Porter was found dead in her Los Angeles home Thursday, Nov. 15. She had been suffering from flu-like symptoms for several weeks, according to TMZ. However, her cause of death is currently unknown. She was 47.

Porter acted for many years, landing small parts in the film “The Brothers,” VH1’s “Single Ladies” and the TV series “Wicked Wicked Games.” She also appeared on “I Want to Work for Diddy.”

She had four children, including actor Quincy Brown, who appears on the Atlanta-filmed Fox series “Star,” and three of Combs' kids, Christian, 20, and 11-year-old twin girls D'Lila Star and Jessie James.

Actress and model Kim Porter, who once dated Diddy, died at age 47, Diddy's rep confirmed.

Cause of death for Kim Porter, ex-girlfriend of Diddy, remains unclear

There has not been a cause of death determined for actress and former model Kim Porter after her sudden death Thursday.

USA Today reported that the Los Angles coroner’s office said an autopsy failed to immediately establish a cause of death. The autopsy was conducted Friday.

“The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests,” Sarah Ardalani, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, told USA Today.

Porter was pronounced dead in her Los Angeles home Thursday, the coroner said. 

Many in the entertainment industry continue to mourn her loss, and a celebration of her life was held in Los Angeles Monday.

Porter dated music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs on and off for 13 years. They remained friendly even after breaking up for good in 2007 and had three children together: a 20-year-old son named Christian and 11-year-old twin daughters, D’Lila Star and Jessie James.

Diddy publicly commented on the loss of Porter for the first time Sunday, saying, “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much.”

Kim Porter’s oldest son, Quincy Taylor Brown, broke his silence Sunday on his mother’s death last week, posting a tribute on Instagram to the 47-year-old former model and longtime girlfriend of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

"I am broken ... & the only thing that makes sense right now is that you were way too good for this silly world we live in. I love you so much MOMMY. Please give Mee-Maw the biggest hug and kiss for me," he said.

Brown is Porter’s son from her relationship with singer-songwriter Al. B. Sure, whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown III.

A 911 call was placed from her home in Toluca Lake, California, where she was later found dead. A cause of death has not been revealed.

Combs, who had two daughters and a son with Porter, also released a tribute to the mother of his children on Sunday, publicly addressing her death by posting a 2006 video that shows a pregnant Porter and Combs in a loving photo shoot for Essence magazine.

Former model Kim Porter has died, according to TMZ.

The tabloid site reported that the actress who dated  music mogul Diddy for 13 years was found dead in her Los Angeles home.

A representative for Diddy confirmed the news to TMZ, saying, “Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.”

The cause of death is unclear.

Porter dated Diddy off-and-on from 1994 to 2007, when they called things off for good, remaining on friendly terms. In that time, Porter gave birth to their son Christian, 20, and 11-year-old twin girls D'Lila Star and Jessie James. Porter was also mother to Quincy, 27, from her relationship with singer Al B. Sure.

Diddy is publicly speaking about the death of Kim Porter, his on-again, off-again girlfriend of 13 years and the mother of his three children, for the first time.

Porter was found dead in her Los Angeles home Thursday at age 47.

“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t,” Diddy wrote in an Instagram post Sunday, according to Vibe. “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER (expletive)!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”

The caption was posted along with video from the couple’s December 2006 Essence magazine photo shoot. The video showed Porter, who was pregnant at the time with their twin girls Jessie James and D'Lila Star Combs.

The music mogul dated the actress and former model off and on for 13 years, ending their relationship for good in 2007. The pair notably remained friendly after their breakup, supporting each other at events and appearing together at family events. 

A cause of death has not yet been announced.
