The Fly Jock is Feeling “Good” After Mini-Stroke in April

Family, Tom Joyner suffered a mini-stroke in April. He gave the exclusive on his health to his Black America Web family.

Here’s what we know:

First, he’s doing very well and is at home rehabbing and back to his normal routine.

The information was leaked on social media last weekend that our beloved Tom Joyner had suffered a stroke. The medical incident happened more than 6 weeks ago.

“I was like everybody, in quarantine, but instead of just sitting in the house, being bored and stuff, I worked on my health because I figured what are the chances of me catching the virus and then after that, how can I enhance my chances of me beating the virus if I do catch it.”-Tom Joyner

The 70-year old says his “efforts in the ring are what triggered the stroke”. Do you think that’s stopping him from getting back in his full boxing ring in his basement? You guessed it! No. The Fly Jock says he’s ready to take on Mike Tyson. Let’s be honest, he may be biting off more than he can chew with that one. Nonetheless, it’s great to hear Tom is doing well.

He’s doing so well that he recently did a 2-week special with his former #TJMS co-host, Syblil Wilkes. He and Sybil spoke to Presidents of the Divine 9. The conversation with the President of Omega Psi Phi is below.
