Omarosa says U.S. would be 'begging' for Trump's return if Mike Pence became president

Omarosa Manigault Newman, the former White House aide who quickly transitioned to the CBS reality show “Celebrity Big Brother,” dropped more bombshells on the program, this time sharing a warning about Vice President Mike Pence.

The woman who became a household name on “The Apprentice” told her reality show housemates on Monday’s episode that they ought to think twice about a Pence presidency, saying Pence would be a “scary” alternative to President Donald Trump.

“Can I just say this: As bad as y’all think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence. So everybody that’s wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their life,” Newman told the others. “We would be begging for days of Trump back if Pence became president, that’s all I’m saying. He’s extreme. I’m Christian, I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things.”

The conversation headed toward Pence when the group started talking about the recent government shutdowns and the possibility of a Trump impeachment.

Newman also talked about the recent crackdown by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and sounded a warning alarm about coming immigration policies.

“I’ve seen the roundup plan,” she said. “It’s getting more and more aggressive.”

Expanding on the topic of the ICE crackdown, Newman said the Obama administration did Trump a favor with its policy on DREAMers.

>> On Rare.us: VP Mike Pence was spotted at the Olympics sitting by someone very close to Kim Jong Un

“Barack Obama’s administration said, ‘If you sign up and basically out yourself that you’re here illegally, we’ll protect you,'” she said. “As a result, all of these people signed up, outed their families, their children, people who were in hiding. Then Donald Trump got in and was like, ‘Yeah, that was his little executive order.'”

The other house members have generally expected bombshell material out of Newman.

“Every time she opens her mouth, I’m like, ‘Is she gonna drop a bomb?'” Ross Mathews said. “Is there gonna be a breaking news go across the screen?”

For his part, Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath exclaimed: “It’s Omarosa time!”

McGrath then went on to question the validity of anything Newman says.

“Time to talk about her stint in the White House … but, you always have to remember, this is Omarosa, a world-class reality TV villain. Is it true? Is it game? Is it her story? Is it the real story?"

“It’s Omarosa’s world, and I’m just livin’ in it.”

In a previous episode, Manigault-Newman broke down while talking to Mathews. She said Americans should be concerned about the Trump administration.

“It’s going to not be OK; it’s not,” she said. “It’s so bad.”

Payne, 87, has stolen approximately $2 million worth of jewelry and other items over her six-decade career. She was last arrested in July 2017, after she was accused of stealing $86.22 worth of merchandise from a DeKalb County, Ga., Walmart. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to time served.

Payne’s most lucrative alleged heist occurred in the 1970s, when she was accused of stealing a 10-carat diamond ring worth $500,000 in Monte Carlo. Charges against her were dismissed when police could not find the ring. Payne detailed many of her crimes in a 2013 documentary, “The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne.”

Late last year, Williams shared more opinions about Markle.

“I respect Meghan Markle’s hustle and I respect her game. However, she’s a bit of a wild card, you know, because she goes from being the ‘Deal or No Deal’ girl, so this is a girl looking for game,” Williams said.

“And remember the story here at Wendy. She came here to Wendy to find out what she could do here. She’s been here; she’s been in our building. We have her DNA.”

Wendy’s been throwing a lot of shade lately.

Kid from ‘The Blind Side’ now works for Arkansas football team

Sean “SJ” Tuohy Jr. has not been blindsided by fame. In fact, he has embraced it.

>> Read more trending news

Tuohy works for University of Arkansas coach Chad Morris, but many remember him because of the character portrayed by Jae Head in the 2009 movie “The Blind Side.”

"Everyone wants me to stay as this 11-year-old kid," Tuohy, an assistant director of football operations, told KATV. "Some people think I 'Benjamin Button'-ed it, never aged or went backwards. I think it's disappointing to someone when I say ‘That's me.’ ‘Oh man, I thought you were much smaller and cuter!’”

“The Blind Side” is the story of Michael Oher, an impoverished youth adopted by the well-to-do Tuohy family. Oher went on to a successful career as an offensive lineman at the University of Mississippi and the NFL, most notably with the Baltimore Ravens.

Tuohy continues to have a good relationship with his adopted brother.

"You look back at it and think, I wasn't really like that, that's not how it was. (But) that's what it was like," Tuohy told KATV. “(Michael) excelled in football, he excelled in basketball, everyone socially loved him. He was someone you look at like, 'Man, I hope I can be like that one day.'"

Tuohy shed some light on the film, which starred Sandra Bullock in the role of his mother and Tim McGraw as his father. Quinton Aaron played Oher in the film.

He said Bullock’s characterization of his mother, Leigh Anne Tuohy, was accurate, but was only a capsule version.

"She's much worse in real life than Sandra Bullock was in the movie,” Tuohy told KATV. “That was two hours of my mom. Think about that as a 24-hour day, all the time."

Bullock won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Touhy.

Tuohy said the movie sometimes was a curse, adding that he’d often be taunted while playing high school sports.

"'Good job, Sandra,' chants and I remember we were warming up one time playing a school in football and they played the whole 'Blind Side' soundtrack before the game,” Tuohy told KATV. “I can't control any of that stuff and just laugh it off."

The International Skating Union adopted rules allowing music with lyrics after the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, The New York Times reported. Traditionally, skaters could only perform to instrumental versions of songs, Billboard reported.

Méité, 23, said she picked Beyoncé for her routine because “(Her music) is crazy, wild, and fun," she told the magazine. “You can just dance to it, and that's how I am.”

Méité,  a four-time national champ, had a few rough spots during her performance Sunday, including a tumble during the middle of the program, but her choice of music certainly stood out.

She also performed her Beyoncé ice skating short program in January at the European Figure Skating Championships in Moscow.
